Terms & Conditions

1. By providing videotape, film, pictures, images, music and other electronic media for copying the client agrees and understands that their media will be handled, specifically, by Deep & Meaningful Productions for the services specified.
2. By providing these materials the client is responsible for making sure they are free from copyright or that permission has been obtained from the copyright holder for the specified services to be undertaken. Deep and Meaningful Productions will not be subject to any copyright infringement claim made. Furthermore, if any such claims arise by any third party the client must agree to indemnify Deep and Meaningful Productions for any resulting actions or claims.
3. It is the client’s responsibility to make sure that the source media does not contain obscene or unlawful material. Deep and Meaningful Productions will not be held responsible for such material and will fully cooperate with authorities in the case of criminal prosecution.
4. Absolutely no representations are set for the ability to render these services or to the end quality of the product. Although there will be no assessment of charges in the event of us being unable to obtain an acceptable and reasonable end product.
5. The client will release all claims, demands, suits or other proceedings concerning the results of the services rendered by Deep and Meaningful Productions.
6. Clients are advised to use a recorded, special or guaranteed delivery service when sending source footage. Depending on instructions Deep and Meaningful will use Royal Mail ‘Signed for’, ‘Special Delivery’ or ‘Parcel force’ services to return your media and to deliver your finished product.
7. Deep and Meaningful Productions and their staff are not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any loss or damage which occurs to source footage (video, audio, or other media) when they are not in our possession. While such media is in our possession we will treat it with the utmost care and consideration. Should damage occur which is beyond our control we will not accept responsibility. For damage which is within our control we will pay compensation up to £100. Compensation does not apply to media which arrive in a bad or unusable state, or to media which are damaged during playback due to defects or age.
8. The DVDs etc that we produce are high quality industry standard material. In the case of DVDs we use Verbatim and Sony DVD-R and DVD+R disks. The client is responsible for checking the compatibility of these disks with their media playing hardware. If a problem arises and we are informed of it within seven days we will try to solve the issue. We cannot, however, be held responsible for damage caused by mishandling. It is the client’s responsibility to protect the disks from scratches or damage.
9. We aim to complete and dispatch orders within 28 working days from receipt. Turnaround time may be longer for large orders and at certain times of the year. We can make no guarantees in this regard but will always try to return your tapes as soon as possible.
10. We at Deep and Meaningful Productions consider customer service and satisfaction to be our highest priority. We respect your privacy and never share your details with any other businesses, companies or mailing lists. We rarely send you email newsletters or information through the post, other than invoices, confirmations, receipts etc.
11. Deep and Meaningful Productions reserve the right to alter information and pricing at any time. All information on this web site and in other publicity material is subject to written or verbal confirmation
