The Company Section meet on the same night (Friday) as the other sections, but at a later time (7:20pm - 10pm) They begin in the main Moore Memorial Hall before making their way to the Committee Room, then across to the Minor Hall and (when we get rid of the GB at 9pm) back to the Moore Memorial Hall - so we make good use of the facilities anyway.

A typical evening might consist of a fall-in quickly followed by squad inspection. While still in uniform we try to practise a bit of drill - either ceremonial or squad drill (We have a great history in the battalion squad drill competition)

We have our devotions and Bible class in the committee room. Again there is a competition attached to this with the battalion Scripture Shield at stake. Having said that we like to put the emphsis on solid, relevant Christian teaching rather than solely competition.

After that we generally have a warm up and games in the minor hall - running alongside small group lessons such as Camping, Drug Awareness, Crime Prevention. All of these go into gaining badges.

Back to the Moore Memorial Hall for some sports. We have always competed well in the Volleyball and 5-aside Football competitions and that comes from the practice we put in at Ballywatt. We also have our own take on classics such as Dodge Ball, Group Skipping and British Bulldogs to keep variety alive.

Finally back into uniform and in our squads for closing devotions and dismissal at 10pm. I don't know about the boys but by this point the officers are exhausted and have to go home.
